An extensive heritage project in an incredible mansion, full of history and soon to be completely revitalised home to a family with four young children. This project is an ongoing work in progress, working with the client as project manager and the expertise of a specialist heritage architect also on board. The brief is very much about beautiful design at a sensible price, a challenge we have risen too. With such an enormous project at hand, all design must be justified, in terms of the budget for our client, who has more than 20 rooms to consider. On this large project, Suzanne Gorman Projects invited like-minded Christina Prescott Design to collaborate on the interior design. We have reworked the floorplans, designed six bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry and bespoke joinery throughout. Furniture is being specified and costed in a comprehensive body of documentation. Excitement is building in anticipation of the completion of construction in 2015.
